Save the most important phone numbers on your cellphone, e.g. *31#+49695899761 209 for lake Garda forecasts.
Using Callback-SMS you get one SMS each time you call. The call is always free because you only send you Caller ID to the phone number you dial. *31# causes your phone number to be sent to the dialed phone number. You can leave out *31# if "sending caller ID" is activated in your cellphone settings. +49 is the country code for Germany.
WindAlarm sends you an SMS automatically, when the wind reaches your preset conditions.
Set up your personal WindAlarm in the account configuration. You can set up windlimit and winddirection for max. 6 locations. Windfinder alerts you, as soon as the desired conditions have been reached. The data come directly from the weatherstations and is only a few minutes old when you are alerted.
You can switch your WindAlarm on and off anytime by calling *31#+49695899761 000, wait for the ring tone and hang up. You'll get an SMS showing the actual status "On" or "Off". If it was "Off" before the call, it'll be "On" and vice versa.
The readings from several locations are collected in one SMS. To read the whole report you need to scroll down on your cellphone display.
If you call between 19 o'clock the day before and 13 o'clock the current day, you'll get a forecast for 14 o'clock current day and 20 o'clock current day. The SMS indicates: 14:00&20:00 (order of appearance of the forecast values).
If you call between 13 o'clock and 19 o'clock the current day, you'll get a forecast for 20 o'clock current day and 14 o'clock the following day. The SMS indicates: 20:00&14:00 (order of appearance of the forecast values).
